More about me and how to get in touch

The Nourish and Encourage ethos is to take a holistic approach to wellness, which means that I'll look at how all areas of your life are connected. I want to teach people how to rejuvenate their body and minds with natural remedies, nourishing recipes based on whole-foods and to heal the cause of pain or discomfort rather than applying a 'band-aid' to mask it.

Why I started this journey 
Living with my own health challenges for over ten years and through trial and error, I have found balance and healing by providing my body with optimal nourishment and finally learning to listen to what my body needs. 

After years of reading as many health books and blogs as I could get my hands on, I am studying towards a formal qualification in Human Nutrition through the Naturopathic College of New Zealand. I previously studied a degree in Marketing and Business Management and have worked in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand in various marketing and brand management roles for over twelve years.

My Vision
As a holistic nutritionist and wellness coach in training I love inspiring change in the lives of the people that I have the privilege of meeting. My vision is to inspire more energised lives, healthy hormones, balanced lifestyles, natural beauty, and nontoxic living. Health is not just the absence of disease – it’s the peace and harmony that comes with taking care of your body and being true to your heart.

A desire for learning and inspiration
I love to read and am an avid learner, always seeking out the newest and latest information so that I can provide and inspire my clients, friends and family with the information I believe to be the most accurate available. Inspiration comes from discovering things that work, and those that don’t, so that I can apply that learning to help others find their own path to health.

I believe that food really is medicine
What we put in our mouths ultimately becomes our cells and tissues. By taking things back to basics and making it all about real food that nourishes you, we really do feel so much more alive.

I have a passion for cooking, and a terribly sweet tooth. My shelves are overrun with cook books ranging from Jamie’s Kitchen and Delia’s Christmas to the Real Food Chef and Elana's Pantry. I truly believe that eating is one of life’s pleasures and find great inspiration in pouring through recipes books looking at ways that I can makes old favourites healthier and more nutritious.
